Comment on The motorcycle that re-wrote the rulebook, Honda’s CB750, turns 50 by Dario Pedrajo

I bought a used 1974 CB550 in 1979 after I rode both it and a CB 750 and found that the smaller engined bike was far better handling that the 750. I was living in NYC at the time and wanted to get back to motorcycling after moving to NYC in 1973. Before that I owned a lot of British bikes and that Honda was a revelation of modernity and convenience with its electric start, disk brake and reliability. Sadly I sold it after too many near scrapes with crazed cab drivers in the city. I spent many a happy hour cruising the Taconic State Parkway on weekends with that bike! Sure wish I had held on to it!
